Ranger Challenge
Ranger Challenge is called the "varsity sport" of Army ROTC. This team trains in basic infantry skills. Every fall, the team attends a competition against other teams in our brigade. The events that the team competes in are constructing a rope-bridge, patrolling, assembly and disassembly of the M16A2, the army physical fitness test, day- and night-land navigation, and a 10K road march.
This team trains separately from the battalion, in order to receive the specialized training needed to succeed in this competition. Anyone is welcome to join the team.
