CDT Cameron Morrow attended Cadet Troop Leader Training (CTLT) at Fort Bliss, Texas with B Co, 123rd Brigade Support Battalion following his MSIl year. During his three-week tenure he was able to see the inner workings of the Ordnance company as well as other units. Mountaineering

Mountaineering

CDTs Jack Ellis and Justin Price attended the Basic Mountaineering Course at Camp Ethan Allen Training Site in Jericho, Vermont. "We learned how to navigate through difficult terrain with a small unit. We were taught to use a variety of equipment and techniques, including knots and basic mountaineering equipment, to help us move through terrain that would typically be deemed impossible to pass through. Additionally, we were given basic knowledge about the unique issues and preparations required for mountainous terrain." CDT Justin Price

Airborne

CDTs Davion Silkett and Travis Akin attended the Basic Airborne Course in Fort Moore, Georgia. Their training culminated in jumping out of perfectly good airplanes and pinning their silver wings. CDT Silkett was named the honor graduate of his class, crediting his success to the study habits he learned in college and ROTC.

Air Assault

CDTs Kaleb Garcia, Ethan Ives, and Evan Langdon attended Air Assault courses in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, West Point, New York, and Fort Moore, Georgia, respectively. "The 10 toughest days in the Army" include training in combat assault, sling load operations, and rappelling. "This school helped me in various ways, including an increase in physical fitness and knowledge, but also allowed for opportunities to perform under pressure and fatigue which increased my mental agility and decision making." CDT Kaleb Garcia

Cadet Summer Training

This past summer, all MSIll cadets traveled to Fort Knox, Kentucky for summer training. Mizzou Cadets had a 100% pass rate without any recycles, with three Cadets receiving the RECONDO award. "The curriculum during our first three years does an amazing job preparing us for camp. Everything you learn builds upon itself as you progress in the program. As a Mizzou cadet, I felt like I was a level above my peers from other universities, and I think that is a testament to the culture of excellence that is fostered within the Tiger BN." CDT Evan Langdon
